The short version. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and carries no tracking pixels. Nothing is collected about you unless you type it into the enquiry form or the assistant. What you send goes to Kyle so he can reply, and nowhere else. It is never sold or traded.

Who this is

Kings Touch Painting is Kyle Vaughn, a painter and plasterer working in Victoria, British Columbia. If you want to know what is held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, phone 250-896-3048 or email kylevaughn@kingstouchpainting.ca and ask. You will get a straight answer.

What is collected, and only when you send it

The enquiry form. Your name, an email address or phone number, the property address if you give one, and what you write in the message.
The assistant. Whatever you type into it. If your message contains something that looks like an email address or a phone number, that is passed on to Kyle as an enquiry — so treat the chat box as a way of reaching him, not as a private notepad.

There is no account to create, no newsletter, and no marketing list.

Where it goes

To Kyle, over Telegram. Enquiries are delivered to a private Telegram group so they reach the phone he actually carries. Telegram handles the message in transit.
To an AI provider, for the assistant only. To write a reply, your message is sent to Anthropic's API. It is used to produce that answer, not to train a model.
Nowhere else. Your details are not sold, rented, traded or given to advertisers.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

None. No cookie banner appears because there is nothing to consent to. The one piece of storage this site uses is a single browser entry called ktp-arrived, which remembers that you have already seen the opening animation so it does not replay as you move around. It holds no information about you and it is discarded when you close the tab.

The ordinary technical exceptions

Two things happen simply because the site is on the internet, and it would be misleading not to mention them. The site is hosted by Vercel, whose servers keep short-lived request logs that include IP addresses. The photographs are served from Supabase Storage, which likewise sees the request for each image. Neither is used by Kings Touch to build any picture of you.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept while Kyle is in touch with you about the work, and afterwards as part of the ordinary records of the job. Ask and it will be deleted, unless it has to be retained as a business record.

Your rights in British Columbia

Under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act you may ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and withdraw consent for its use. Use the phone number or email above. If you are not satisfied with the response you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
